New preprint placed on arXiv about a new type of light controlled micromotor. The article on "Optically Driven Janus Micro Engine with Full Orbital Motion Control" discusses how light polarization can set a Janus microparticle half-coated with Gold into steady orbital rotations around a defocused laser beam. The work has been led by PhD student David Bronte and provides for the first time a highly controllable rotation control for such type of micromotors.
