New preprint placed on arXiv about novel way of manipulating microparticles above patchy surfaces with nanometer precision.  The article on "Nanoalignment by Critical Casimir Torques" shows that the shape of particles matter when placed above a patch. We investigate the particles confinement based on the patch sizes and tune its behaviour using temperature alone. The work has been led by PhD student Gan Wang and provides for the first time experimental results on the torque induced by critical Casimir forces.
