The international scientific community is invited to attend OptoFluidiX 2025, a conference dedicated to recent advances and future directions in the interdisciplinary field of optofluidics. The event will be held from September 16–18, 2025, at at Leipzig University, in Leipzig, Germany.
The conference is co-organized by Dr. Falko Schmidt, ETH Zurich and Prof. Frank Cichos and Prof. Detlev Belder from Leipzig University.
A Platform for Interdisciplinary Exchange
Over the past two decades, optofluidics has revolutionized fields ranging from biosensing and diagnostics to drug delivery and personalized medicine. By integrating optical and microfluidic technologies, scientists are now able to manipulate light and liquids with unprecedented precision on the micro- and nanoscale.
OptoFluidiX 2025 aims to bring together leading researchers from across physics, biology, chemistry, and engineering to present and discuss novel theoretical and experimental approaches.
